Halo: Reach officially dated for this September

Halo: Reach will officially be making its worldwide debut on September 14 of this year. Ten years after the launch of their first Halo title, Reach will be the final game Bungie creates within the Halo world. During the past ten years, the franchise has inspired multiple New York Times best-selling novels, comic books, action figures, apparel and more. It has sold more than 34 million games worldwide to date.

In anticipation of the next Halo game, more than 2.7 million fans participated in the Halo :reach multiplayer beta on Xbox Live, making it the largest console Video game beta test on record.

Players completed more than 13 million online games and logged over 16 million hours of online gameplay, amounting to over 1,826 years of total play time in just over a two-week period.

Halo: Reach follows the story of Noble Team, a Spartan squad that must make its final stand on planet Reach, humanity’s last line of defense between the Covenant and Earth. Bungie and Microsoft will be offering three editions of the game when it releases this September: standart, limited and legendary for $59.99, $79.99, and $149.99 respectively.
